The School District of Lancaster Board of School Directors consists of nine members who are each elected to a four-year term of office. Board members serve without compensation and have the primary task of formulating and evaluating all policies necessary for the operation of the school district.
The Board of School Directors meetings are scheduled the first, second and third Tuesday of each month; however, occasionally there are exceptions. Each regular business meeting is advertised on this site and in the legal section of the local newspapers.
Public Comments
School Board meetings are held in Lincoln Middle School, and members of the community are invited to attend. Residents may address the board in person when the agenda allows for public comment. If you do not wish to attend in person, you may register to make a virtual comment via Microsoft Teams. Please provide your full name and email address (link below) and you will receive meeting information in the email provided. Commenters will remain in a virtual “waiting room” until it is their turn to speak.

SDoL Committee of the Whole and School Board Meetings are live-streamed. Recordings of the meetings are published on the site the following day. The meeting link will be available for up to six months.
Public comments will be accepted at the scheduled time on the agenda. Individuals may comment in person or virtually by registering at the link no later than one (1) hour prior to the start of the meeting. If commenting virtually, please ensure a reliable internet connection and be prepared to appear on camera through your computer or a smartphone.
