Robin Goodson / President
Robin Goodson works for the County of Lancaster. Robin Goodson is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in non-profit board roles. Her primary involvement came from raising her six children within the school district and being heavily engaged in their education.
She is a seasoned expert in the school functions and Accounting Department and has held key positions in her family business. Robin actively engages in community outreach and serves on several non-profit boards, including United Way, Girls on the Run, YWCA, State Parent Advisory Council, and Pennsylvania School Board Association. Robin’s leadership has been recognized with awards that underscore her commitment to excellence and making a difference.
Robin holds a degree in psychology with a minor in accounting from Lincoln University and is pursuing more education in an MSW program from Lancaster Bible College, which will provide her with a solid foundation for her multifaceted roles in both professional and community settings.
Beyond her board responsibilities, Robin is actively engaged in community outreach. Her dedication to philanthropy extends to the School District of Lancaster’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Champion for our Youth. She is a vocal advocate for Inclusion for all and ensuring all students receive an excellent education, leveraging her influence to raise awareness and drive positive change.

Luis Morales / Vice President
Luis Morales was appointed to fill a vacancy on the board in 2020. He is employed by Community Action Partnership and is a McCaskey graduate.

Jennifer Eaton
Jennifer (Van Buskirk) Eaton was elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. Jen is a proud graduate of the class of 1996, and the parent of a graduate (and his future spouse) from the class of 2014 . Jen and her husband are parents to two future Red Tornadoes who are currently in 7th and 8th grade. She has been a parent volunteer and leader in the district since 2001, participating in PTO/FTOs at Wharton, Reynolds, McCaskey, and E. R. Martin Schools and District PAC.
Jen attended SDOL schools from kindergarten (Wharton) through graduation from McCaskey, and subsequently attended Franklin & Marshall College, where she graduated in 2000 with degrees in Government and Spanish, and a minor in public policy. She also completed master’s coursework at Penn State Harrisburg in the (former) Community Psychology & Social Change program. Jen’s professional experiences include legislative and educational advocacy; SDOL community partnership-building and professional development around the Whole Child and Community School Model; and case manager/program liaison to the Lancaster Violent Crime Reduction Initiative, a cross-systemic community prevention coalition. Jen also worked as the Public Relations Manager for Best College Fit, a company created by her father, a 35+ college admission veteran, writer, and presenter.
With the core values that our communities are better when families are secure, and their basic needs are met; then students are able to arrive to school fed, clothed, and ready to learn; and teachers are well trained, resourced and supported to meet the diverse needs of their classrooms; and that quality, equitable public education is a right of all students – Jen decided to run for school board after the first year of the pandemic. She co-organized and participated in advocacy efforts related to the Fair Funding Lawsuit, and jumped into Board work, including liaison to the Leadership/Act 93 Team, participation on the Policy and Equity Steering Committees; and the Boundary Realignment Committee.

Dr. Molly Henderson
Molly Henderson, Ed.D., was elected to the school board in 2021. She has a history as an educator, public health official and been active in many community service organizations. Her children attended the School District of Lancaster. She lives with her husband and two dogs in Lancaster Township.

Mara Creswell McGrann
Mara Creswell McGrann was elected to the school board in 2017. She works in her family’s small Lancaster City business, Penn Stone. Mara is a graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband, John, live in Lancaster City and are the proud parents of three McCaskey graduates who all attended SDoL from kindergarten through graduation. Her involvement in SDoL began with the PTO at the former Buchanan elementary.
Mara is currently the board representative for the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, serving as Personnel Chair and has served as Vice-President of the SDoL board. Mara is a past president of the Lancaster Day Care Center board, and is also a past board member of both the Lancaster Family YMCA and the YWCA of Lancaster.

David Parry, Ph.D.
Dr. Dave Parry was elected to the board in 2017. He has spent his career in higher education as a Communication and Media studies professor.

Kareena Rios
Kareena Rios was elected to the school board in 2019. She is currently serving as an immigrant integration specialist with CASA AmeriCorps. A McCaskey alum, Rios lives in Lancaster with her husband and two children who go to school in SDoL.
