Quality PreK matters

All children who will be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2026 and reside in Lancaster City or Lancaster Township are eligible to enroll in PreK for the 2026-27 school year.  Please note that spaces are limited, and enrollment is based on need, not on a first come, first served basis.

Required documents (including Proof of Birth, Immunization Records, Proof of Address and Proof of Income) can be submitted electronically.

During the enrollment process, you will login or create an account in ParentVUE, our student information system. There, you will answer several questions about your registration and schedule a day and time to visit the enrollment office and sign your child’s paperwork. You may also at that time provide any documents you were unable to upload.

Required documents

We will need the following documents in order to enroll your child:

  • Proof of birth for your child (birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport)
  • Copy of your child’s immunization record
  • Proof of residency (e.g. mortgage, lease, current utility bill dated within past 30 days)
  • Proof of income (paystub, tax documentation, etc.)
