Scholarships

The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.

This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluation of the essay submitted. You are not required to be taking engineering courses to be eligible.

In commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary and to honor the legacy of Pennsylvania’s strong commitment to education, America250PA will be awarding $250,000 in scholarships to deserving Pennsylvania students attending Pennsylvania colleges and universities in the 2026/2027 academic school year.

Any Pennsylvania College or University
• Up to 12 to any Pennsylvania Community College
• Up to 13 to any Pennsylvania Post-Secondary College or University

Applicants must also be enrolled in, or have taken, one or more Advanced Placement (AP) classes, International Baccalaureate (IB) classes and be available to fully participate in the year-long program and attend all dates for the Aspen Ideas Festival trip in Aspen, Colorado: June 24 - June 30, 2026.

Applicants must be Seniors in high school planning to attend a 2 to 4-year undergraduate degree program majoring in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, Marketing, or another Business-related program.

Applicants must reside and/or attend a high school that falls within a low-to-moderate income community within Fulton Bank’s 5 state footprint (DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA).

Applicants are required to submit one (1) recommendation from a person other than a family member.

Applicants are also required to submit a written essay answering the following question: “How will you use this opportunity to further your professional development and career goals?”

Once a completed application is submitted through the Fulton Bank website, a Fulton Bank representative will be in contact with the applicant to discuss next steps in the evaluation process.

The evaluation process is based on academic performance, extracurricular/community involvement, leadership ability, academic attendance/punctuality, interview performance, and desire for employment at Fulton Bank.

Two (2) Nursing Scholarships of $1000.00 (one thousand) each are being offered to graduating High School students residing within Lancaster or Chester County. Scholarships are available to those students entering the Nursing Profession upon their 2026 graduation from High School.

All applications for the Ervin L. Steele scholarship must be on file with the students High School Counselor no later than March 20th t, 2026

For 11th grade students who have significant financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. 2.0 GPA required in addition to demonstrated strength of character and commitment to pursue a college education and contribute to society.

The Town and Country Garden Club of Lancaster offers a scholarship for $1500.00 each year to a deserving senior who is continuing their education in the following studies:

Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Agronomy, Botany, Dairy Production, Environmental Control City Planning, Flora Culture, Horticulture, Land Management, Landscape Design, Forestry, Wildlife Sciences and Urban Planning.

The website application should be completed: (a) Three letters of recommendation (can be from a teacher, mentor, guidance counselor, place of employment), (b) your most recent high school transcript, (c) your personal essay explaining why you have chosen this course of study, (d) a small bio about yourself and your activities should be included.

Applicants must attend full-time any accredited, public or private, two-year or four-year college, university, or technical college located in the United States in any field of study leading to a degree.

A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

For a McCaskey senior who is a single mother with financial need. 2.0 GPA required along with completed essay.

Candidates must be a student of McCaskey High School Campus, demonstrate financial need, and have a minimum 2.5 (unweighted) GPA if planning on attending Thaddeus Stevens and a minimum 3.0 (unweighted) GPA for all other institutions. Essay, recommendations, and other supporting documents required.

The PSBA Trust Student Leader Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who have demonstrated strong leadership and plan to pursue post-secondary education. Students may apply under one of four scholarship categories:

Frerichs Scholarship – For students planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in education

Marcus Scholarship – For students planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in public safety, criminology, forensics, or law enforcement-related fields

H.H. Quimby Scholarship – For students who have served as a student representative to their local school board during high school

Swope Scholarship – For students planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the arts

Awards are named in honor of leaders connected to the Pennsylvania Public Education Foundation, the Pennsylvania School Safety Institute, PSBA, and the PSBA Trust.
The student must be enrolled in a PSBA-member district and have attended a PSBA member district high school for a minimum of three years.
The applicant must be enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university upon graduation from high school.
Applicants must submit an essay, cover letter, resume, unofficial high school transcript and two letters of recommendation.
A joint letter of nomination from the district superintendent and school board president must be included with the application packet.

In honor of America’s Semiquincentennial, we have reimagined this year's scholarship contest criteria.



The scholarship is open to all current Pennsylvania public high school juniors (Class of 2027.)



Candidates will be asked to complete our Initial Interest Form, linked below, and then prepare and record a short video presentation based on one of the following prompts:



Prompt #1: Discuss the significance of America’s 250th anniversary to Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, or your own town.



Prompt #2: Discuss what you believe will be important in the next 250 years of America’s history.



Prompt #3: Discuss your own personal involvement in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary citing examples in your own area.

Must be a high school senior at any Lancaster County High School OR a current undergraduate who graduated from a Lancaster County High School, OR be a current resident of Lancaster County (except for the McKonly & Asbury Scholarship, applicants can graduate from any United States high school OR be residents from anywhere outside of Lancaster County, so long as they are enrolled in any of the designated colleges).

Plan to enroll in full-time at an accredited two-four year college, university or vocational-technical school in the united states for the entire upcoming academic year.

Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale of equivalent.

A student can be a recipient/renewal student of one award per year

Seniors interested in pursuing a career in STEM Depending on the number of applicants, preference may be towards those interested in STEM professions in the Architectural / Engineering / Construction industry.

The 2026 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering over $13,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four year college, community/junior college or career school. The program includes:

One- $10,000 scholarship
Two- $1,000 scholarship
Three- $500 scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide a one-time $1,000 scholarship to two varsity softball players who
participated in the Lancaster County Girls Softball League (formerly the Donegal Rheems Girls Softball League)
and continued playing high school softball through their senior year.
The scholarships will be awarded based upon character, sportsmanship, integrity, community service, and
academic achievement. To be eligible, you must:
1) Be a member in good standing on your high school varsity softball team your senior year.
2) Plan to attend a college or trade school.
3) Have played in the Lancaster County Girls Softball League (formerly DRGSL) at the U12 and U14 levels.
4) Have a GPA of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4).
5) Complete a 500-word essay on what playing softball on your Lancaster County Girls Softball League
team meant to you.
6) Submit Letters of Recommendation from your high school softball coach and a classroom teacher.
7) Submit a copy of your high school academic transcript.

Each year, in the spirit of Christmas, we award a $10,000 scholarship to a student who submits artwork or a photograph that our judges deem most worthy of being made into a greeting card.

We kindly ask for your help this holiday season. With Christmas trees 🎄 and festive decorations 🎁 all around, we'd love for you to inspire students in your community to capture the beauty of the season. Whether through photography 📸, painting 🎨, or drawing ✏️, encourage them to submit their creative entries to our scholarship contest.

This is our 19th contest! We’re excited (and amazed) that with the conclusion of this scholarship contest we will have given away over $190,000 to help students further themselves with education.

For McCaskey seniors with a minimum 3.25 GPA. Applicants must have competed for McCaskey Track and Field for a minimum of 2 seasons. Can be applied to both 4 year undergraduate studies or trade/technical school.

Applications are open to first generation immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2020. The National Scholarship Award will help cover your tuition and fees at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.

Scholars also receive an additional stipend for books, supplies, and transportation up to a maximum of $6,000. While we consider your GPA, we place great emphasis on your dedication to community service and your commitment to academic and career success despite the barriers and challenges that Dreamer students face daily.

The award follows students through the completion of a bachelor’s degree and is renewable each year. Recipients must meet the continuing eligibility criteria and renew the award in June.
