Uniquely qualified to support the developmental needs of students.

School counselors in SDoL are certified/licensed educators uniquely qualified to address the developmental needs of students through a school counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. They aim to remove barriers to permit students to achieve success both in- and outside of school. School counselors in SDoL support students via direct and indirect services, collaborate with others to foster student achievement, and promote the safety and well-being of all students with the purpose of preparing students for work in the 21^st century.
