This summer, McCaskey High School is partnering with several local colleges to offer college courses at no cost to students. These are offered on and off McCaskey’s campus. Options include:
- Harrisburg Area Community College
- Course: English 101
- Details: Dr. Brian McDonald is teaching this online course as a special cohort for McCaskey students. The course is taught on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5-7:20 from 6/22-8/11.
- Pennsylvania College of Art and Design
- Course: Introduction to Business in Creative Industry
- Details: This course, offered online, runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from May 31st to July 29th from 5:30-7:30.
- Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences
- Course: Medical Terminology
- Details: Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences is offering a Medical Terminology course from June 27th-August 5th open to rising juniors and seniors. This one credit college course runs on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 in person at the PA College of Health Sciences campus. This is a good opportunity for students interested in entering the medical field or about to enter the McCaskey Health Care Careers program.
