Synergy is retiring the current versions of the ParentVUE and StudentVUE mobile apps this summer. Beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, you will need the new version to log in as the current app will stop working.
The new apps are separate listings in the App Store/Play Store and not an update to what’s currently on your device. You’ll see ParentVUE (New) or StudentVUE (New) in the store once you search. When you open your current app, you’ll also be prompted to download the new one directly from there.
The guides below (available in English and Spanish) walk through the full process step by step, including logging in with your existing username and password, so no new account or registration is needed.
- This only affects the mobile app; logging in from a web browser is not impacted.
- For students on a district-provided iPad, the new StudentVUE app is also available anytime through Self Service.
- Once you’ve confirmed the new app is working, you can delete the old ParentVUE or StudentVUE app from your device.
Please Note: If you received push notifications from the app, you will need to turn them back on after downloading the new version:
- Open the app
- Select the menu icon in the upper left corner
- Choose My Account > Notify
- Update your notification settings
