Higher education continues to be expensive, with costs continuing to rise annually. While the majority of SDoL students and parents aspire to postsecondary education, cost remains a top concern. Through partnerships with state and local institutions, School District of Lancaster is hosting virtual workshops this January addressing these concerns and sharing important resources. Representatives from Pennsylvania Higher Education Association, Pennsylvania Department of Treasury, and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology are joining elementary and middle school families to discuss options to finance postsecondary education. This includes a discussion of state grants and loans, PA 529 accounts, and Thaddeus Stevens’ Stevens Grant program. A high school workshop on scholarships highlights over $200,000 in scholarships available for current McCaskey seniors. All registration information is available below.
