SDoL salutes 500+ years of service from this year’s retirees

Twenty-seven employees are retiring from the School District of Lancaster in truly unprecedented circumstances this spring. Together, the group of educators, support staff and administrators represent 515 years of service to the district.

“Never did our retirees imagine they would close out their career during a world-wide pandemic,” superintendent Dr. Damaris Rau said. “However, the closure does not diminish the many contributions and services they have provided to students and families. Though we cannot celebrate them in person, we salute them!”

Please join the district in wishing our 2020-21 retirees good health, happiness and great memories of their time in SDoL schools and offices! Their legacy will continue for years to come.
