Summer offers School District of Lancaster students a chance to continue building the interests and talents they develop throughout the school year. That growth was on display during Music For Everyone’s annual summer camp showcase, where several SDoL students performed selections they had prepared through weeks of vocal and instrumental instruction.
The free program welcomed students in grades 4 through 12 to learn alongside experienced instructors, guest artists and fellow musicians. Hosted in partnership with Holy Trinity Lutheran and Music For Everyone the camp created an opportunity for students to continue developing their skills while school was out of session.

Throughout camp, students explored rhythm, sound and musical expression while learning how to listen, rehearse and perform as part of an ensemble. The final showcase gave families and supporters a chance to see how much they had learned.
Programs like Camp MFE complement the music education students receive across SDoL and help young musicians stay connected to their craft during the summer. Music For Everyone covers the full cost of camp, making the experience available to students at no charge.
Congratulations to all of the young musicians who took part in this year’s camp and showcase! Click here to view more photos on Facebook.
