St. Joseph Softball

St. Joseph Softball is now accepting sign ups for girls 6 to 14 years old for the upcoming Spring Softball season. The 8U level (girls 6 to 8 years old as of Jan. 1) is coach pitch, as opposed to higher levels where the pitching is done by the players. Softball at the 8U level is mainly instructional with no scores recorded or standings kept. This is a fun time for the girls with no pressure.

Everyone plays. We hope to have 12 to 14 girls per team. Practices start in March. The League season runs from mid-April through the third week of June. Our home field is located at the 1409 Wabank Rd. near Hamilton School. Early Bird discount until March 1. Outdoor practices will be weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Coaches are needed at all age groups, please call if you would like to help. You will find more information and may register at stjosephcatholicclub.comPlease call Bill Souders, St. Joe Softball Director, for more information at 717-917-3755

Crispus Attucks Community Center invites students to participate in a writing contest honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Winning students will be filmed reading their essays, and the videos will be aired during the 34th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast on Jan. 17.
