This is an exciting time for our students, educators, and community! Beginning with middle school iPad deployment in 2018-19, our goal over the next 4 years is to ensure all SDoL students have equitable access to devices and opportunities available to transform learning. Our vision is to empower creative digital learners. Our goals are to ensure:
Students will meet 21st Century Technology Standards (ISTE Standards)
Teachers and administrators create a digital age learning culture
School District of Lancaster maintains financial responsibility for innovative technology, infrastructure and support
Student Helpdesk Portal
The new School District of Lancaster Student Helpdesk, launched in January 2021, is accessible through ClassLink or you the shortcut on student iPads.
Our mission is to provide innovative digital equity to all learners. Together with teachers, administrators, and our school board, we designed a five year comprehensive plan beginning in 2018 to ensure we meet our goals.
International Standards for Technology in Education
The ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Standards for Students, Educators, and Administrators provide a framework to ensure all students are developing the skills that will transfer into the future of college and career readiness.
