Milestones: Comprehensive Education Solutions, an enhanced program from the School District of Lancaster. Milestones offers personalized academic curricula, combined with therapeutic support, for students aged 5-21 (kindergarten through grade 12) who face social, emotional, educational, and behavioral challenges. Our dedicated team is committed to fostering a safe, supportive environment where continuous learning enables every child and young adult to thrive. Previously known as DASH, Milestones is a specialized program designed for students in the School District of Lancaster who benefit from an academic setting integrated with behavior support services. We collaborate closely with families, teachers, and special education consultants to develop a personalized plan tailored to each student’s needs. Our students come from any school within the School District of Lancaster based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Our team of skilled educators, clinicians, and therapists has worked with hundreds of students and their families, empowering them to achieve their goals. We support students with all disability categories, as well as behavioral and emotional challenges, with the ultimate aim of helping each student successfully transition back to their neighborhood school or achieve graduation.
Students in the Milestones program receive individualized, small group, and whole group instruction based on the Pennsylvania standards-aligned curriculum. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is embedded in lesson plans, with teachers and robust staff providing guidance in natural environments.
