Approximately 10-15 percent of students plan to attend college the fall after graduation but fail to do so. This happens for a lot of different reasons including financial aid complexity, a change of plans, or difficulty in navigating the college transition. College can make for a difficult transition, but you don’t have go it alone. McCaskey’s Future Ready Center provides remote support via text messaging during your first year of college. Staff are available to answer any questions and provide support. You’ll also be invited to online and in person events throughout the year where you can connect with other McCaskey grads in their first year of college.

Take a full schedule of courses to stay on track for graduation
Far too many students take far too few classes to graduate college on time. Students who take 15 credits or more are more likely to graduate in general and graduate on time. Make sure you are taking a course schedule that will keep you on track.
