The Steinman Foundation is providing support to School District of Lancaster families who do not have reliable internet access. For families who do not currently have a way to connect a student’s SDoL device to the internet, please follow these steps:
- Call SDoL to obtain a promo code at 717-396-6501 or email Samantha Sweigert at slsweigert@sdlancaster.org
- Visit InternetEssentials.com to apply for the Comcast Internet Essentials Program for free high-speed internet for six (6) months
- When applying to the program, be sure to provide your promo code
- If you have applied unsuccessfully for the program in the past, please reapply, as the eligibility requirements have recently changed
Note: Families who currently have internet access are not eligible for Internet Essentials from Comcast. It is reserved for families without access due to financial hardship. If you have questions about eligibility, contact the Student & Family Resource Specialist in your child’s school.
