As the seasons change and you begin sorting through your closets, consider donating items you no longer need to Community Aid on behalf of the School District of Lancaster’s Families in Transition (FIT) program. Your donations can help students and families access clothing and other necessities.
When dropping off donations at a Community Aid donation center, show the flyer provided with this post and ask staff to credit FIT’s membership number, 60003. Donations credited to FIT earn points that can be redeemed for Community Aid gift cards, allowing families to shop for items they need.

- Clothing
- Shoes
- Housewares
- Electronics and toys

Community members can also support FIT through the district’s partnership with Blessings of Hope. Individual food vouchers or food voucher booklets can be purchased and donated to the program to help families access food. To purchase, visit blessingsofhope.com or call 717-824-1227.
