SDoL provides free physicals to student-athletes prior to the start of competition each sports season. Any student who is in grade 7 through 12 who plan to participate in a sport during the year must have a physical. When appropriate, transportation is provided to the site where physicals are offered.
Student-athletes must bring a signed copy of the PIAA Physical Form (download below). Sections 1-5 must be completed fully.
Dr. John Wood MD, MBA, FAAFP
Dr. Wood has been a part of the SDoL SM Team for over 10 years. He and Dr. Payne come in on Mondays to provide free appointments for athletes that need to see them. He oversees the athletic trainers and signs their orders. He also provides coverage on Friday nights for football.
Dr. Jennifer Payne, MD, CAQSM
Dr. Payne has been at SDoL for two years. She shares the same duties as Dr. Wood and works out of our LGH Kissell Hill Sports Medicine office where they can treat all non surgical orthopedic injuries. If further imaging is needed, student athletes are often referred there. She also provides coverage on Friday nights for football.
Kimberly Cisneros, MHA, LAT, ATC / 717-623-3180
Kimberly has been an Athletic Trainer at SDoL for 7 years. During her time here she has made SDoL a Safe Sports School 1st team through the National Athletic Training Association which designates our athletes as having access to excellent medical support. She schedules athletic training coverage and is the point person to contact in the Athletic Training Office and for Southeast.

Matthew Bower, MSAT, LAT, ATC / 229-314-4479
Matt joined us last school year at SDoL. He also works out of JP and is the point person for Wheatland Athletic Training coverage. He is enthusiastic in working with our students as he is excellent with one on one rehab that we offer daily from 1pm-3pm for all student athletes out of the JP athletic training room.

Craig Hartman, MS. LAT, ATC / 717-926-8235
Craig has just joined the team at SDoL this year. He works out of the East athletic training room and the point person for Reynolds Middle School. He provides plenty of experience as he has come to us from Reading high school and he is excited to integrate himself into our program.
