SDoL Alert: Due to ongoing snow emergency in Lancaster City and to give crews time to clear all streets, the School District of Lancaster will have a Flexible Instructional Day (FID) on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
On a Flexible Instructional Day:
🍎 Learning begins at 9:00 a.m. for middle and high school and 10:00 a.m. for elementary students. 🍎 Teachers will post lessons in Schoology (Grades 6–12) and Seesaw (Grades K–5). 🍎 Students are expected to complete the assignments provided. 🍎 Virtual office hours and ways to contact your child’s teacher will be shared the morning of the FID.
Turning in work, online or on paper, counts as attendance and shows your child was engaged in learning. Please be sure your student completes their work on the iPad or returns the paper packet to their teacher when school resumes.
As a reminder, your child is responsible for the safe care and handling of their iPad, including proper use and timely return of the device. To help preserve battery life, the iPad should only be turned on while your child is completing online assignments and powered off once the work is finished.
