Welcome to Washington Elementary School, home of the Wolverines! We are a Full Service Community School in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Lancaster. As a community school we strive to be the hub of the neighborhood – uniting families, educators and community partners to provide students with a high quality education, enrichment, health and social services, and opportunities to succeed in school and life.
We encourage you to be an active partner in your child’s education! This can happen in a variety of ways. It may be the time you take to read with your child in the evening (at least 30 minutes!), it can be contacting your child’s teacher when you have a question or a concern, it can be sharing feedback with us when we are doing something well or when you would like to offer a suggestion. Another way to partner is to attend events at our school.
We value our diverse school community and encourage families and partnerships to engage in this collaborative process in order to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. Feel free to stop in to say hello and see the wonderful things happening at Washington!
