Future Ready Lancaster Curriculum
Every first Friday of the month is College and Career Friday at SDOL. All staff wear college shirts, and engage students directly in college and career exploration through lessons and activities. Elementary and middle school students participate in a minimum of nine Future Ready Lancaster lessons per year, each designed to meet Pennsylvania Career Education and Work Standards. High school students complete at least 12 lessons annually, and create a personal college and career portfolio.
Building on the district’s investment in digital technology, School District of Lancaster is excited to provide Xello to all 6-12th grade students. Xello, formerly Career Cruising, is a new interactive platform that allows students to explore colleges and careers and develop an individualized portfolio. Students can access the platform by clicking the link below. Login using your SDOL username and password at any time.
